Nelson Mandela Day Blanket Project

🌟Springs Girls High School (SGHS) wrapped up a heartwarming Nelson Mandela Day Blanket Project!🌟

Our learners came together in an inspiring display of creativity, compassion, and teamwork, crocheting and knitting an incredible 1,879 squares, which were assembled into blankets for those in need.

Congratulations to the winning class for their outstanding contribution of 818 squares! Their commitment was awarded with a class party and pizzas sponsored by Romans pizza Selcourt.

A big shoutout to our top contributors, Mutsa Mbuqe, Homolemo Motatinyane, and Tanatshwe Mabonga, for their dedication. 🎉 They received vouchers to celebrate at Springs Mall Spur.

Special thanks to our amazing teachers, Ms H Jones and Ms Nadioo, whose support and contributions were key to our success.

In addition, a massive thank you to Springs Sip 'n Crochet Group for their incredible donation of blankets.

This project wasn't just about blankets—it was about community, learning, and the power of giving. 🌍💕
